On 15. January, 1982, Kiss performed live on the ABC TV show “Fridays” in Los Angeles. The band was promoting their new album “The Elder” and performed three songs from the album; “The Oath”, “A World Without Heroes”, and “I”. The songs were filmed and aired on the same day. “Fridays” was a late-night variety program that aired on the ABC network on most Friday nights after the local news. This was Ace Frehley’s final live appearance playing material with the band.

14 – Rehearsal scheduled at Studio 55 in Los Angeles for the “Fridays” television taping. An interview with WABC-TV’s Storm Hunter is also aired on that channel’s “Eyewitness News.”
15 – Run-throughs (2), dress-rehearsal, and filming of “Fridays” ABC television appearance broadcast live at 9 – 10:30 p.m.
