On 30. July 1980, Kiss taped an episode of the “Kids Are People Too” TV show in ABC Studios, New York City, which was aired 21. September. On the show they introduced their new drummer, Eric Carr. Prior to the band’s coming out on stage, the host asked an audience member, “Who’s your favourite band member?” The youth responded, “Peter Criss. Er, um, I mean… Ace Frehley.”
