On 6. December 1978, Paul Stanley did a rare in-store appearance at Peaches Records, Everett, Seattle, Washington, promoting his solo album, which was released 18. September 1978, simultaneously with the other Kiss members’ solo albums.

Ric Aliberte:
“In late 1978, I took Paul Stanley out to do a bunch of in-stores in San Francisco and several other locations in the Pacific Northwest. A particularly memorable one took place [at Peaches Records on December 6, the last known in-store in this run of appearances in Seattle] where the line out front was something like 1,500 kids. The first person in line had waited a full 24 hours to see Paul. I was standing next to him when a woman came up and said: ‘Never come to Everett, Washington or we will blow you away.’ And then she left. She waited 24 hours in the rain just to tell him that. We couldn’t believe it.”
