September, 1980, Kiss did a photo session with photographer Wolfgang Heilemann backstage before playing a show at Hemmerleinhalle in Neunkirchen am Brand, West Germany, with Iron Maiden as support. The show was advertised as taking place at Messehalle in Nuremberg, but was moved to Neunkirchen am Brand, a 30-minute drive north of Nuremberg. This marked the first use of the altered Kiss stage logo, introduced for the German tour dates because the original logo had been banned. The tour was sponsored by Bravo Magazine.
